Introduction
The tenth daughter of Qing Taizong, born on October 21, 1635, during the hour of Chen (7-9 am). Her father was Qing Taizong’s Emperor Taiji, and her mother was a consort from the Nala clan. Her full siblings included Gao Sai and the thirteenth daughter of Qing Taizong. According to the customs of the Later Jin (Jin dynasty), this daughter could be referred to as a Gege (eldest daughter). She was born in the imperial palace on October 21, 1635.
In August of the eighth year of the Shunzhi Emperor's reign (1651), she was betrothed to Hui Sai, the son of Tu Lai. Hui Sai was granted the title of Empress’ Younger Brother (え 蚩), and after the marriage, she became a princess. Due to the underdeveloped imperial princess enclosure system at the early Qing court and her mother’s humble marital status, she was only granted the title of County Lord. Two months after the marriage, her husband Hui Sai passed away. After this, there are no records concerning her life, education, or involvement in government affairs.
In August of the eighteenth year of the Shunzhi Emperor's reign (1661), at the age of 27, she passed away. Historical records lack further details about her activities during her lifetime, offering no additional information on her personal deeds, residence, or travels outside her known life events. Descriptions of her family relations include only her parents, full siblings, and her titles within the封爵 (enfeoffment) system. The core facts of her life are limited to her birth, marriage, nobility title, and death, with no verifiable reports of other significant events.
