Introduction

Hong Tianxiang, born August 8, 1986, has appeared in multiple films in Hong Kong and worked as a martial arts coordinator and action director. His early experience includes appearing on August 8, 1986 in the drama produced by Sammo Hung and directed by Lin Delu, "再见妈咪" (Goodbye Mommy), in which he played the role of "Little Paigu." Nine years later he appeared in the action film "无面俾" produced by Sammo Hung, which was released on February 17, 1995. On August 29, 1998 he appeared in the action film "B计划" (Plan B), directed by Luo Lixian, which screened in Hong Kong. On August 26, 2006 he appeared in the romance film "神游情人," which was released in Japan.

His entertainment career began in 1986. In addition to acting, he has worked behind the scenes as a martial arts and action director. On April 11, 2009 he appeared in the idol crime drama "痞子英雄" (Black & White), directed by Cai Yuexun, portraying the captain of a mercenary unit while also serving as martial arts director. In December 2011 Hong Tianxiang directed the rock music film "乐之路" (Road of Music) in collaboration with Wu Jianhao; this was his first work as a director and had more than three years of preparation. On June 19, 2012 he appeared in Cai Yuexun’s action film "痞子英雄之全面开战" (Black & White: The Dawn of Assault), starring Huang Bo, Zhao Youting, and Yang Ying; the film was released in Mainland China and received the 2013 Straits Film & TV Season award for "Most Popular Co-produced Film with Audiences on Both Sides."

In 2013 he served as action director on the comedy film "变身超人" (Transforming Superman), directed by Zhang Shilin. In January 2014 the romance TV series "流氓蛋糕店" (Rogue Bakery) premiered in Taiwan, in which he played Chu Zhuiming. In March 2014 he held his first personal concert. That year he was action director on the film "铁狮玉玲珑" and took part in the reality variety show "我不是明星" Season 5. On March 31, 2017 he was a producer on Xu Jinglei’s film "绑架者" (The Kidnapper). In 2018 he served as action director for the comedy film "卧底巨星" (Undercover Superstar).

On July 29, 2022 the film "七人乐队" (The Seven-Person Band), on which he served as producer, was released in Mainland China and received a nomination for Best Action Design at the 41st Hong Kong Film Awards in 2023. On April 26, 2024 Hong Tianxiang led the "Hong family troupe" to direct the gunfight action film "赴汤蹈火," which began shooting in Sanya, Hainan; this is his second directorial work following "乐之路." On July 11, 2025 his directed film "赴汤蹈火" was released on iQIYI.

On the personal side, his relationship with girlfriend Liu Yier has been visible in public. On March 12, 2020 he was photographed teaching his girlfriend to skateboard in a park, showing intimate interaction.

His body of work spans films, television, directing, behind-the-scenes production, variety hosting, and music albums, including titles such as "流氓蛋糕店," "痞子英雄," "神游情人," and the album "是不是爱" (Is It Love). He has received several film and television nominations and recognitions, including the 2023 nomination for Best Action Design at the 41st Hong Kong Film Awards.
