Introduction
King Qi Hui Zhu Youchen was born on November 12, 1478, and died on December 2, 1501. He was the fifth son of Emperor Xianzong of Ming, and his mother was Empress Xiaohui Shao Shi. In the 23rd year of Chenghua (1487), he was titled Prince of Qi. In the 8th year of Hongzhi (1495), he moved to Deyan Prefecture. He passed away in October of the 14th year of Hongzhi (1501) at the age of 23, with the posthumous title "King Qi Hui." His princess consort was the daughter of the Central Army Cavalry Commander Wang Xun. She was titled consort in the 6th year of Hongzhi (1493) and died on the eighth day of the seventh month in the 14th year of Hongzhi (October 1501). They were buried together at the Western Hills of the capital. King Qi Hui had no sons, only two daughters. His second daughter died prematurely in the 16th year of Hongzhi (1503) and was buried beside her father's tomb. The Empress Dowager once brought the two daughters into the palace as a sign of compassion.
