Chen Weili

Wei Li Chen, female, born in 1942, is a member of a family of scientific staff of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her father is Chen Yun. In terms of education, she graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1965. Subsequently, she conducted visiting studies at Stanford University in the United States in 1984. She has international experience in academic exchanges, having engaged in academic visits to Stanford University in the USA in 1984.

Regarding her professional career, Wei Li Chen engaged in manual labor at the Wuqiqiang School in Qianjiang City from June 1970 to July 1971. In 1978, she began serving as a cadres in the State Science and Technology Commission. Starting from 1987, she gradually held several important managerial positions, including Deputy General Manager of China New Technologies Venture Capital Co., Ltd. and Chairperson of China New Technologies Venture International Ltd. From 1989 to November 2003, she served as General Manager of China International Technology Intelligence Cooperation Co., Ltd. During her tenure, she completed numerous tasks related to technological cooperation and international exchanges. She retired from her professional positions at the end of 2003.

After retirement, Wei Li Chen continues to hold key roles in various social and industry organizations. In December 2005, she was appointed Chairperson and Legal Representative of the Zhejiang Province Love Charity Foundation. In August 2008, she participated in the eighth training examination for independent directors organized by the Shanghai Stock Exchange and obtained the qualification for serving as an independent director of listed companies. Since April 2015, she has served as Chairperson of the China Nutritional Meal Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance. In this field, she promotes technological innovation and industry development of nutritional meals, becoming an important figure in the sector.

Currently, her main positions include Chairperson and Legal Representative of the Zhejiang Province Love Charity Foundation, and Chairperson of the China Nutritional Meal Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance. Wei Li Chen has extensive experience and achievements in China's scientific and economic development, public welfare, and industry innovation.
