Tricia Chan

Jianfei Chen, born in China, holds a bachelor's degree. His early education includes studying at the University of British Columbia in Canada, where he majored in finance. After graduation, he worked in a well-known bank in France in a senior management position. In his early career, Jianfei Chen gained experience in the financial industry.

In June 2002, Jianfei Chen signed a contract with Century Element Entertainment Co., Ltd. and its entertainment agency branch, becoming the first Hong Kong artist signed under a mainland record and entertainment agency. In November of the same year, he released his first Cantonese album titled "Fly," issued by Emperor Entertainment. The EP included tracks such as "Futures," "Habit," "The 1st and 15th," "Minor Accident," "Phoenix," and "Foot Pump Foot Pump." That year, he received the "Pioneer Music Chart" Best Newcomer Award and the "RTHK Top 10 Chinese Gold Songs" Best Newcomer Award for his performance in the music industry.

In 2003, Jianfei Chen participated in the film "God of Gamblers 3: Back in Action," portraying the secretary Yuli. The film was directed by Zheng Weimen and starred actors including Cheng Wai-kei, Yang Gung-ru, and Dù Deyu.

In September 2004, Jianfei Chen announced his withdrawal from the entertainment industry, ending his brief but impactful career. After stepping away, he rarely made public appearances.

Regarding his personal life, on November 26, 2004, in Macau, Jianfei Chen was found by customs officials to have a glass bottle containing what appeared to be 0.383 grams of cocaine in his handbag while traveling by helicopter. The case was handled by the Macau Public Prosecutor's Office. The Macau Magistrate’s Court found him guilty of possessing illegal drugs for personal use but, considering it was his first offense and he had confessed, sentenced him to a fine of 2,000 Macau patacas, with no criminal record, and he was subsequently released.

Jianfei Chen is known for his high looks and good personal qualities. His appearance is widely regarded as young, sexy, and charming. Additionally, his artistic potential has been recognized within the industry.
