Thomas Chew

Thomas Chew, born in 1702 and deceased in 1782, was married to Martha Taylor, who was born in 1702 and died in 1782. Martha Taylor was the daughter of Martha Thompson, who lived from 1679 to 1762. Martha Thompson was the mother of Frances Taylor, born in 1700 and died in 1761, who was the mother of James Madison, Sr., an American planter and politician. James Madison, Sr., in turn, was the father of James Madison, the President of the United States from 1809 to 1817.
