Introduction
King Qi Huai Zhu Zaiwei was born on October 1, 1537, and died on August 5, 1538. He was the illegitimate first son of Ming Emperor Shizong Zhu Houcong, and his mother was Consort Zhao Yì. Zhu Zaiwei was born on the twenty-eighth day of the eighth month of the 16th year of the Jiajing reign (which corresponds to October 1, 1537). He died on the eleventh day of the seventh month of the following year (August 5, 1538), at only ten months old.
