Liu Jian

Liu Jian, male, Han ethnicity, was born in 1953. In the early 1970s, at the age of just 16, he began his military service. Since then, he has been dedicated to the military and scientific research work of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

In his career, Liu Jian served as Deputy Director of the Equipment Academy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, responsible for the academy’s administrative management and disciplinary development. His promotions within the military were based on his military skills and technical abilities, eventually attaining the rank of Major General in the PLA.

Liu Jian also has influence in political and social activities. He was a delegate to the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and was an important representative at that meeting. Regarding his family, Liu Jian’s wife is Wang Ling, who works as a physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Peking University First Hospital. His mother is Zhu Min, and his maternal grandfather was Zhu De, with his maternal grandmother being He Zhihua. Zhu De was one of the principal founders and key leaders of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and his family background holds significant historical importance.
