Introduction
Huse (Manchu: ᡥᡡᠰᡝ, Möllendorf transcription: Hūse; March 3, 1628 – March 22, 1646) was a member of the Aisin Gioro clan, posthumously honored as a grandson of Nurhaci, the founding emperor of the Qing Dynasty. He was the eighth son of Eetiquan Wangji, also known as Prince Li Lie.
Huse was born on the twenty-eighth day of the first month of the second year of Tiancong (March 3, 1628). In the second year of Shunzhi (1645), he was granted the title of Marquis of the Realm. He died on the sixth day of the second month of the third year of Shunzhi (March 22, 1646), at the age of eighteen. His second son, Jingji, succeeded his titles. In the tenth year of Shunzhi (1653), the court awarded him the posthumous title of Prince of the Crown Realm (Junwang), and he was posthumously conferred the title Kangjunwang, with the posthumous honor "Huishun." In the sixteenth year of Shunzhi (1659), Mandahai was demoted and stripped of his titles. The line of the Prince Li family was continued by Mandahai's son, Changadai, who was succeeded by Huse’s third son, Jieshu, and was re-enfeoffed as Kangqinwang (Prince Kang of the Qing). In the first year of Kangxi (1662), he was again posthumously promoted to Huishun Qinwang (Hui Shun Prince).
Regarding his family, his father was Prince Li Lie, and his mother was from the Yehe Nara clan. His formal wife was from the Khorchin Borjigid clan, and his concubine was from the Tula clan. His children included A Lin, born from his formal wife; his eldest son Jingji, conferred the title of Prince Huai Min of the Junwang rank; and his second son Jieshu, conferred the title of Prince Kangliang, both sons being born of the formal wife from the Khorchin Borjigid clan.
