James Priest

James Priest, born around 1720 in Watertown, is the ancestor of a lineage that includes Calvin Coolidge, the 30th president of the United States, who served from 1923 to 1929. His daughter Hannah Priest died in 1829, and her daughter, Calvin Coolidge, was the son of Hannah. Calvin Galusha Coolidge, also an American politician, is the son of Calvin Coolidge, who was the son of Hannah Priest. The lineage further includes John Calvin Coolidge, Sr., the father of Calvin Coolidge.
