Grace Phelps

Grace Phelps, born on September 15, 1728, and deceased on February 9, 1824, was the daughter of Timothy Phelps and Abigail Phelps, who lived from 1731 to 1816. She was the granddaughter of Timothy Phelps’s parentage and the great-granddaughter of an individual born in 1697. Grace Phelps was the great-great-grandmother of Rutherford B. Hayes, the 19th president of the United States, through her daughter Drusilla Austin, who was born in 1762 and died in 1813. Drusilla Austin was the mother of Sophia Birchard, who was the mother of Rutherford B. Hayes.
