Littleberry Walker Carter was the father of William Archibald Carter, who lived from 1858 to 1903. William Archibald Carter was the grandfather of James Earl Carter Sr., an American politician who lived from 1894 to 1953. James Earl Carter Sr. was the father of Jimmy Carter, the 39th President of the United States, serving from 1977 to 1981.
