John Herndon

John Herndon was born in approximately 1722 and died around November 17, 1783. He was the son of Edward Herndon, Jr., who lived from 1702 to 1759, and is part of a lineage that includes Joseph Herndon, born in 1737 and deceased in 1810, Dabney Herndon, who lived from 1783 to 1824, William Lewis Herndon, an American explorer, and Ellen Lewis Herndon Arthur, the wife of U.S. President Chester A. Arthur, who served as President from 1881 to 1885.
