Introduction
Sonō Motosachi (December 21, 1803 (Tempo 4, November 11) – October 30, 1905 (Meiji 38)) was a courtiers' noble and aristocrat (count) from the late Edo period into the Meiji era.
Life
He was born as the third son of Gonchūnagon Sonō Motonaga. He was later adopted by Sonō Man.
His marriage partner was the daughter of Koide Hidetoshi.
His children include Sonō MotoSuke, Hosokawa Toshifumi, and Sonō Shōko (a court lady of Emperor Meiji).
He was also the grandfather of Crown Princess Takamako, former Princess Kisako, Princess Yoshiko (a consort of Emperor Meiji), and Takamado Fumiko.
He died on October 30, 1905 (Meiji 38).
