Francis Eppes IV

Francis Eppes IV, born in 1686 and deceased in 1734, was a historical figure whose familial connections include being the father of Martha Eppes, and through her, the grandfather of Martha Jefferson. Martha Jefferson, born in 1748 and passing in 1782, was the wife of Thomas Jefferson, the President of the United States from 1801 to 1809, and also served as the First Lady of Virginia. Thomas Jefferson's father was Peter Jefferson, who was born in 1708 and died in 1757, and Thomas Jefferson himself was born around 1748.
