Prince Alfonso of Orleans is a Spanish prince from the twentieth century, who served as an officer on the national side during the Spanish Civil War. He is the son of Princess Beatrice of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, a British princess born in 1884 and who died in 1966. Princess Beatrice was the daughter of Alfred, Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, who was the son of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom.
