Abigail Whiting

Abigail Whiting was born in 1666 and died on May 7, 1733. She is the ancestor of Rutherford B. Hayes, the 19th President of the United States, through a lineage that includes her descendant Rutherford Hayes, who lived from 1756 to 1836. Her descendants include John Russell, her son, born in 1687 and deceased in 1757, and Rebecca Russell, her granddaughter, born in 1723 and died in 1773. Rutherford Hayes, the son of Rebecca Russell and John Russell, lived from 1756 to 1836, and his son Rutherford Hayes Jr. was the father of Rutherford B. Hayes.
