Anne Sanford

Anne Sanford, who lived approximately from 1680 to 1736, is the mother of Peleg Sanford Mason and the grandmother of Elijah Mason. Elijah Mason, born in 1756 and presumed to have died in 1833, is the son of Peleg Sanford Mason. Elijah Mason's daughter, Arabella Mason Rudolph, is the mother of Lucretia Garfield, who was First Lady of the United States in 1881 and was married to President James A. Garfield.
