Cao Lijun

Cao Lijun, female, was born in Fengyang County, Chuzhou City, Anhui Province. She was the second wife of Li Fongsan and is recognized for her important role within the family, as her children went on to hold influential positions in Chinese politics and state-owned enterprises.

Together with Li Fongsan, Cao Lijun had three children: her eldest daughter Li Xiaoqing, who became Director of the Information Center of the Anhui State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission; her second son Li Keqiang, who served as a member of the CCP Politburo Standing Committee and as Premier of the State Council, making him one of China’s most important political figures; and her youngest son Li Keming, who served as Deputy Director of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration and Chairman of the Supervisory Board for Key Large State-owned Enterprises.

As a mother, Cao Lijun not only carried the responsibility of raising her children but also played a key role in supporting their development and success. Her children’s achievements across politics, economics, and administration have made her an especially notable figure as part of a prominent political family.

Although there is little publicly available information about her personal education or professional career, Cao Lijun remains a significant figure due to her marriage to Li Fongsan and her role as the mother of Li Keqiang.
