Li Peiling

Liu Hui Juan, born in the 1950s, is a social figure from Hong Kong. She participated in the Miss Hong Kong Pageant in the 1950s and was crowned the winner. In 1959, she married Li Zhaoji at the Grand Hotel in Central. After marriage, Liu Hui Juan and Li Zhaoji had three daughters and two sons, namely the eldest daughter Li Peiwen, the second daughter Li Peiling, the third daughter Li Peiyi, the eldest son Li Jiajie, and the youngest son Li Jacheng. During the fifteen years following their marriage, Liu Hui Juan focused on family life, playing the role of housewife. While her husband Li Zhaoji was a corporate leader, she mainly took responsibility for domestic affairs, raising children and caring for the family.

As the Sun Hung Kai Group gradually developed under the control of partners, Liu Hui Juan began to participate in the management of Henderson Land Development. After the company separated from Sun Hung Kai and Henderson Land became independent, she played a more significant role in the management team. She regarded herself as one of the company's managers, although some people viewed her management style as somewhat assertive and competitive. Due to disagreements with her husband Li Zhaoji over management approaches, their relationship gradually deteriorated, ultimately leading to serious conflicts in both family and business matters.

Li Zhaoji tried multiple times to persuade Liu Hui Juan to step back from management, but was unsuccessful. Internal family mediation failed, and the relationship further worsened, resulting in separation and the formal procedures for divorce. Before the divorce was finalized, Liu Hui Juan showed a different attitude towards the luxurious family home renovation. Ultimately, she chose to leave, ending over twenty years of marriage.

After the divorce, Liu Hui Juan lived in Canada for a long time, leading a relatively low-profile life. In 2006, she attended the wedding of Li Jacheng and Xu Ziqi held in Australia, after which she rarely appeared in public. Within her family, her children supported their father Li Zhaoji, demonstrating filial piety and respect. Following the divorce, Li Zhaoji did not remarry but continued to care about the growth and education of his children.

Liu Hui Juan leads a private life; aside from a few public activity records, there is limited reporting on her public appearances. Her life mainly revolves around family and personal affairs, and her contributions and roles within her family are noted to some extent in public records.
