Luo Qirui

Luo Qirui, male, born in 1959, is from Chaozhou, Guangdong Province. His educational background includes studies at Columbia University in the United States. Luo Qirui returned to Hong Kong in 1981 to assist his father, Luo Yingshi, in business activities, particularly gaining extensive experience in the real estate and construction industries.

During his career, Luo Qirui helped his family acquire an old-established construction company, Sun Fook Kee, in 1987. Two years later, Sun Fook Kee successfully listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, becoming a well-known enterprise in the Hong Kong market at that time. Luo Qirui served as Chairman of the company's board, making him one of the youngest chairmen of a listed company in Hong Kong at that time.

By 1989, Sun Fook Kee’s turnover reached HKD 1 billion. During this period, Luo Qirui also collaborated with Bovis Far East, a subsidiary of a British banking group, to establish a joint venture aimed at expanding business in Southeast Asia and Hong Kong. These commercial activities demonstrated his active engagement in the real estate and construction sectors.

Luo Qirui has held a certain influence in Hong Kong’s business community. His career began with managing and developing the family enterprise and gradually expanded into international cooperation.
