Introduction
Princess Changning, whose name is not known, was born on November 26, 1501, and died on April 16, 1504. She was the eldest legitimate daughter of Ming Xingxian Prince Zhu Yuhuan. Her mother was Concubine Xiao Xian, Lady Jiang, and her father was Ming Emperor Ming Shizong Zhu Hòu Cōng. The princess was the younger sister of Ming Shizong. She was born on October 16, the 14th year of Hongzhi (1501), and passed away on April 2, the 17th year of Hongzhi (1504), at the age of four. After Ming Shizong Zhu Hòu Cōng ascended to the throne, she was posthumously honored as Princess Changning Chang in the 4th year of Jiajing (1525). At the same time, Yue Huaiwang and Princess Shanhua were also granted titles. In March of the 7th year of Jiajing (1528), Ming Shizong issued orders for the Ministry of Works to oversee the construction of her tomb hall, sacrifice vessels, and steles.
