Introduction
Ann Strother (1745-1820) was the daughter of Francis Strother and the mother of William Strother. William Strother, born on April 30, 1726, and deceased by November 25, 1808, was the son of Francis Strother and the father of Sarah Dabney Strother. Sarah Dabney Strother, in turn, was the mother of Zachary Taylor, who served as the President of the United States from 1849 to 1850.
