Sarah Tryon

Sarah Tryon, born in 1730 and deceased in 1794, was the mother of Rev. Isaac Clinton, who lived from 1759 to 1840. Rev. Isaac Clinton was the father of Maria Clinton (1791-1871), who was in turn the mother of Harriet Anne Collins (1833-1902). Harriet Anne Collins was the mother of Helen Herron Taft, the First Lady of the United States from 1909 to 1913, who was married to William Howard Taft, the President of the United States from 1909 to 1913.
