Introduction
Princess Ruo Ning, a Ming Dynasty princess, was the fifth daughter of Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang. Her mother was Consort Ning, Guo Shi. The princess was born during the Hongwu period on the 29th day of the fourth month of the 15th year of Hongwu, which corresponds to June 11, 1382. Shortly after her birth, in the 15th year of Hongwu (1382), she was betrothed to Lu Xian, the son of Ji'an Marquis Lu Zhongheng.
