Mo Zhiyan

Mo Zhiyan, born in 2011, is the daughter of Mo Shao Cong and Sun Yunling. Her parents married in 2011, the same year she was born. In 2016, Sun Yunling filed for divorce and waived her custody rights, leaving Mo Shao Cong responsible for her daily life and education.

Regarding her family background, Mo Shao Cong is a well-known figure whose family places significant emphasis on the overall development of their children. Her mother, Sun Yunling, comes from outside the entertainment circle, and after the divorce, her family responsibilities were solely assumed by her father.

In terms of her upbringing, Mo Zhiyan received a comprehensive education from a young age, with her father particularly focusing on developing her athletic abilities. By August 2019, at just eight years old, she had already won a gold medal at a figure skating competition held in Japan. In September of the same year, she also performed outstandingly at a school-organized sports meet, achieving multiple awards, with her father, Mo Shao Cong, personally attending and cheering her on. Regarding the origin of her name, Mo Shao Cong once stated that “Zhiyan” was inspired by romantic characters from Qiong Yao dramas. He explained that because his surname “Mo” is relatively uncommon, he wanted her name to be both unique and poetic. This name reflects his good wishes and hopes for her future.
