Emily Carow

Emily Carow (1865–1939) was the daughter of Gertrude Elizabeth Tyler, who was born on February 14, 1836, and died on April 26, 1895. Gertrude Elizabeth Tyler was also the mother of Edith Roosevelt, making Emily Carow the sister of Edith Roosevelt. Edith Roosevelt served as the First Lady of the United States from 1901 to 1909 during the presidency of her husband, Theodore Roosevelt, who was the 26th President of the United States from 1901 to 1909.
