Introduction
Frances Wagstaffe, born in 1665 and deceased in 1714, was the mother of Sir Walter Bagot, 5th Baronet, a British politician who lived from 1702 to 1768. Sir Walter Bagot was the father of Charles Chester (1730-1793), who was the father of Mary Chester. Mary Chester, who died in 1846, was married to Robert Jenkinson, the 2nd Earl of Liverpool and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1812 to 1827.
