Samuel Hadley

Samuel Hadley Jr., born around 1677 in Amesbury, Massachusetts, and deceased on December 20, 1747, in Amesbury, was the son of Samuel Hadley who was born circa 1655 in Ipswich, Massachusetts. He was part of a lineage that includes his son Samuel Hadley III, born May 5, 1707, in Amesbury and passing away March 3, 1761, in Hampstead, New Hampshire. Hepzibah Hadley, daughter of Samuel Hadley III, was born on July 25, 1744, in Amesbury and died on May 4, 1832, in East Berkshire, Vermont. Hepzibah Hadley's daughter, George Washington Stone, was born February 23, 1777, in Piermont, New Hampshire, and died January 12, 1854, in Dunham, Quebec, Canada. George Washington Stone's daughter, Malvina Stone, was born in 1802 and died in 1869. Malvina Stone was the mother of Chester A. Arthur, who served as President of the United States from 1881 to 1885.
