Sarah Emans

Sarah Emans was born in 1678 in Gravesend, Long Island, New York, and died in 1742. She is the matriarch in a lineage that includes Dorothy Morgan, her daughter, born in 1697 and presumed to have died between 1745 and 1770. Dorothy Morgan's son was Henry Van Kirk Jr., who lived from December 17, 1740, to April 3, 1798. Henry Van Kirk Jr. was the father of William Van Kirk (1763–1826), who was the father of Charity Malvina Van Kirk (1803–1878). Charity Malvina Van Kirk was the mother of Phoebe Elizabeth Dickerson (1843–1910), who was the mother of Warren G. Harding, the President of the United States from 1921 to 1923.
