Introduction
Li Zhanshu’s grandfather, Li Congzhou, was the principal of a primary school in Dujiazhuang Village, Pingshan County, Hebei Province. He had four brothers. Li Zhanshu’s granduncle, Li Zaiwen, joined the Chinese Communist Party while studying at a university in Beijing and, after the founding of the People’s Republic of China, served as Vice Governor of Shandong Province. However, information about Li Congzhou’s father remains unclear.
