Sir Peter Temple

Sir Peter Temple, who lived from 1613 to 1660, was a British figure associated with the peerage. He was the father of Eleanor Temple, who in turn was the mother of Richard Grenville. Richard Grenville was a British politician born in 1678 and died in 1727. His daughter, Hester Pitt, Countess of Chatham, was a British noblewoman. William Pitt the Younger, a prominent British statesman born in 1759 and deceased in 1806, was the son of Hester Pitt, Countess of Chatham.
