Zhang Xiuyā

Zhang Xiuyá, born in Taiwan, with her exact date of birth not specified. When she was 20 years old, she married Xu Ruoyun's father; however, their marriage ended shortly after. Following the divorce, Zhang Xiuyá went to Japan to study beauty techniques. Before Xu Ruoyun turned five, she mainly lived with her father; later, her family moved multiple times, residing mostly in rented houses, with more than thirty moves in total. In 2001, as Xu Ruoyun gradually earned money, she helped her family purchase their first property.

In terms of her career, Zhang Xiuyá possesses singing talent, having participated in numerous singing competitions and winning prizes such as fans, televisions, and refrigerators. After entering the beauty industry, she opened a beauty salon, while also taking care of her children's living and educational needs. After closing her beauty salon, she diversified her income sources by running snack shops and bento (lunchbox) stores.

On January 7, 2007, Zhang Xiuyá served as the new president during the presidency transfer ceremony of the International Jie Ren Club. In April 2009, as a former president of the World General Assembly of the International Jie Ren Club and vice president of the North District Jie Ren Club, she, together with Zhang Wanfan, the president of the Love Society International Jie Ren Club, initiated the charity activity "Connecting Hope Journey." During this event, Xu Ruoyun was invited to serve as a goodwill ambassador to participate in social welfare projects. She also acted as the chief referee at the opening press conference of the "2015 6th Original Hometown Cup International Softball Little League" held on July 22, 2015.

In her personal life, Zhang Xiuyá experienced divorce during Xu Ruoyun’s elementary school years. Her eldest daughter, Xu Ruoyu (also known as Xu Peiyu), was raised mainly by Zhang. Xu Ruoyun and her younger brother lived with their father, who provided them with small amounts of financial support multiple times, making family life quite difficult at times. Later, Xu Ruoyun and her brother reunited with their mother, while Zhang Xiuyá worked outside the home to bear the family’s financial burdens.
