Zhu Xinhua, female, born in 1954, is the only granddaughter of Marshal Zhu De of the People's Liberation Army of China. Her father is Zhu Qi, and her mother is Zhao Liping. In addition to her, Zhu Xinhua has siblings, including her eldest brother Zhu Yuanchao, her second brother Zhu Heping, and two other younger brothers.
She began her service in 1970 at the age of just 16, initially assigned to the Guangzhou Military Region Hospital as a health worker. During her military career, her duties included providing basic care services to patients, and she experienced grassroots work such as cleaning and changing diapers. After completing basic training, she was dispatched to work for two months at the 179th Hospital of the Guangdong Xingning Military, then transferred back to the Guangzhou Military District General Hospital.
In 1973, Zhu Xinhua enrolled at the PLA First Military Medical University in Guangzhou. Four years later, in 1977, she was transferred to the Beijing PLA General Hospital (301 Hospital), where she served as head of the emergency department. Throughout her medical career, she received multiple honors as an outstanding individual and was awarded the third-class meritorious service.
In 1998, she was transferred to the 301 Hospital Retirement Office, where she served as outpatient department director and director. Subsequently, she also served as director and consultant of the Jingu River Retirement Home, managing retired soldiers and related staff.
Zhu Xinhua has also participated in significant memorial activities. On April 25, 2017, she attended the unveiling ceremony of the "Tianxin Military Organization Display Museum" in Tianxin Town, Anyuan County, Jiangxi Province, taking part in related commemorative and promotional work.
In her family life, Zhu Xinhua grew up in a modest and frugal environment. Her grandfather, Zhu De, never drew a salary during his lifetime. Until his death, his accrued Marshal’s salary totaled 20,306.16 yuan, which was finally paid to the family along with a party membership fee. Influenced by her military family background, she cultivated a diligent work ethic, receiving multiple commendations and demonstrating dedication and devotion throughout her career.
