Elizabeth [Willis] Beale

Elizabeth Willis Beale (1725–1773) was the daughter of Ambrose Madison, an American planter and politician. She was the mother of James Madison, Sr., who was also an American planter and politician, and the grandmother of James Madison, the President of the United States from 1809 to 1817.
