Introduction
Huo Xianqiang is the fourth son of the late Hong Kong tycoon Henry Fok Ying-tung and his third wife, Lam Suk-tuen, belonging to the third branch of the Fok family.
He currently serves as the chairman of the board of directors of Henry Fok Ming Yuen Development Co., Ltd., a company responsible for managing the Nansha Port and related projects. In this role, he has been involved in overseeing the family’s business interests in mainland China, particularly those linked to the Nansha Development Zone.
In 2023, Huo Xianqiang was named in a legal dispute when He Mingsi, a former close friend of Henry Fok and a director of the company, filed a lawsuit challenging a board resolution to remove certain directors and appoint new members, including Fok family representatives.
Despite occasional media attention related to such corporate matters, Huo Xianqiang has generally maintained a low public profile. He is known for his pragmatic management style and for upholding the third branch’s steady and discreet approach to the family’s business affairs.
