Elizabeth Johnson

Elizabeth Johnson, born in 1637 and deceased in 1702, was the matriarch of a lineage that includes John Bowen, her son, who lived from 1662 until before 1718. John Bowen's daughter, Abigail Bowen, who lived from 1700 to 1775, was married to Benjamin Kendrick, born in 1723 and died in 1812. Their daughter, Anna Kendrick Pierce, was the mother of Franklin Pierce, the President of the United States serving from 1853 to 1857.
