Fan Si Jing

Fan Sijing, born in 1995, was primarily raised in a family environment. She was brought up by her grandparents and is close to her grandmother. Her father is Fan Zhiyi (born November 6, 1969), originally from Ningbo; he was formerly the captain of the Chinese national football team and currently serves as vice chairman of the Shanghai Football Association. Her mother, Li Qian, is a flight attendant.

Educationally, Fan Sijing attended university and majored in directing. In her family background, her grandfather Fan Jiulin worked at the Shanghai sports school training youth football players and served as head coach of the Shenhua youth team and coach of the Shanghai team for the Ninth National Games. Fan Jiulin passed away on January 29, 2020, at the age of 73. Her grandmother, Huang Wei, was an athlete on the Shanghai track and field team. Her stepmother, Zhang Mengjin, is a ballet dancer.

Fan Sijing first became active in the public eye on September 7, 2015, when she participated in the mainland China reality show "I'm Not a Star" (Season 7). She later appeared on the reality show "Daughters' Boyfriends" on March 19, 2019. During this time she presented her public persona and career experiences.

Regarding her personal life, Fan Sijing is described as outgoing, similar to her father. In matters of romance, on August 27, 2024 she posted on social media a proposal video from her boyfriend Ma Zhen. Ma Zhen is a Chinese footballer, born in 1998 in Dalian, Liaoning, currently playing as a goalkeeper for the Chinese Super League club Yunnan Yukun. Fan Sijing’s previous boyfriend was Lin Yuhang, who is five years older than her and worked at one of the Big Four accounting firms.

On family relations, Fan Sijing’s father Fan Zhiyi reportedly places some restrictions on her life—for example, giving her a monthly allowance of one thousand yuan to encourage financial management and planned spending. He is relatively calm about his daughter’s romantic relationships and focuses on whether a partner shows a sense of responsibility. Fan Sijing has said that although she initially did not accept her stepmother Zhang Mengjin, she was eventually moved by Zhang’s acceptance and came to accept their family relationship.
