Lieutenant James Holmes

Lieutenant James Holmes, born in 1745 and deceased in 1833, was the father of Jesse Holmes, who was born on December 17, 1775, and died sometime after May 8, 1840. Jesse Holmes was the father of Mary Jane Holmes, whose lifespan extended from 1821 to 1878. Mary Jane Holmes was the mother of John Anderson Truman, born in 1851 and died in 1914. John Anderson Truman was the father of Harry S. Truman, who served as the President of the United States from 1945 to 1953 and was born in 1884 and died in 1972.
