Zhang Danfeng

Zhang Danfeng was born on November 7, 1979, in Beijing. In 2000, he was admitted to the Shanghai Theatre Academy, marking the beginning of his acting career. During his studies, he participated in numerous advertisement shoots and appeared in stage plays such as "A Just Revenge" and "A Woman's Life." In 2000, he won the Newcomer Award at the 1st Golden Eagle TV Art Festival, officially entering the film and television industry.

His early representative works include the urban emotional drama "Woman Walk" in 2001, where he played Zhong Yanjun. In 2002, he starred in the love drama "My Naughty Girl" and the Republican-era romance "Half a Life," gradually gaining popularity. In 2003, he portrayed Cao Xiaojun in the family weight-loss drama "Slimming Family," which starred Xiao Li Lin and Tong Dawei, and also appeared in "My Naughty Angel."

In 2005, Zhang Danfeng was signed by Taiwanese producer Yang Peipei to her agency. In 2006, he played the handsome and charismatic Zhao Qiwai in the love drama "Heaven Has Feelings 2," directed by Hu Yijuan. In 2007, he collaborated with Tang Guoqiang and Chen Baoguo to star in the historical costume drama "Zhenguan Chang Ge," playing the former imperial prince Mu Yikuan.

In 2011, he starred in the urban modern romance "Sanqian Jin of the Xia Family" and the costume drama "New Pearl Princess," playing neighbors Huasheng and Maildan. In 2012, he played the perceptive Aisin Gioro Yinliang in the costume suspense drama "Deep Palace Spy," and also appeared in the ethics drama "Love Beneath the Eaves" as Haitan. In December of that year, he starred as Ma Wenyuan in the costume martial arts drama "Yongchun Legend."

In 2013, Zhang Danfeng played Chen Chaoyun in the urban romance "Love Certainly Is Fate." The same year, he also starred as the sword devil Dugu Qiubai in the martial arts drama "The Condor Heroes," and appeared as Huo Xiang in the historical period drama "Master of the House." In 2014, he signed with Shanghai Ciwun Cultural Development Co., Ltd. for his acting career.

In 2015, he portrayed Dongfang Yuqing in the costume fairy tale drama "The Flowers of the Sky," earning the "GuoJu Festival" media's Most Watched Actor Award. That year, he also participated in the reality show "Follow Bell to Adventure," winning the "Asia Impact Oriental Festival" Powerful Male Actor Award. In 2016, he played Xie Tiancai in the period drama "The Beautiful Times," and starred as Lin Jing in the urban emotional series "To Youth."

From 2017 to 2018, he frequently appeared in multiple productions, including the urban emotional drama "The Wedding Riddler," the revolutionary-themed "Awakener," and the sci-fi drama "Heaven's Will," showcasing his versatile acting skills. In 2018, he starred in the historical political drama "Dugu World," playing Yang Jian, the founding emperor of the Sui Dynasty, and later portrayed drug enforcement undercover Wei Hai in the crime and anti-drug series "Hunter."

Besides acting in film and television, Zhang Danfeng also participated in variety shows, music videos, and published the book "Happiness Just Right," actively engaging in charitable activities. From 2021 to the present, he continued to be active in numerous dramas such as "Deep Love," "Fields of Hope," "Fearless," "Dark Blade Awakening," and "Love's Letter," gradually establishing a solid professional foundation.
