Zhao Juntao (January 17, 1903 – December 14, 1985), born Zhao Shixuan, was of Tujia ethnicity, native to Youyang, Chongqing, and the mother of Li Peng. An early member of the Chinese Communist Party, she once served as the head of the Women's Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. In 1939, she founded the Third Nursery School, and later served as president of Harbin No. 4 Middle School and Nankai University’s Vocational and Agricultural Short-Course School, among other positions. In her later years, she was the vice president of Beijing Institute of Chemical Engineering, making significant contributions to education. Her brother was the revolutionary martyr Zhao Shiyan.
