Lillian Hovey Grosvenor

Lillian Hovey Grosvenor is the daughter of Col. Asa Holman Waters, who was the son of Asa Waters, an American politician born in 1769 and died in 1841. Her maternal lineage includes Susan Holman Waters, born in April 1803 and died on February 3, 1866, who was the daughter of Asa Waters. Additionally, Louise Taft, daughter of Susan Holman Waters and mother of U.S. President William Howard Taft, was part of her extended family. William Howard Taft served as president of the United States from 1909 to 1913.
