Introduction

Princess Fuqing was born in 1370 and died on February 28, 1417. She was a member of the Ming Dynasty royal family. She was the eighth daughter of Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang, and her mother was Princess Zheng. On the 17th day of the third month of the 18th year of Hongwu (1385), she married Zhang Lin, the son of Marquis Fengxiang Zhang Long, and they had a son named Zhang Jie. Due to the Zhang family's loss of their titles, Zhang Lin was unable to inherit the peerage. The princess passed away on February 28, 1417, at the age of forty-seven. In 1998, her tomb was discovered in Yuhuatai District, Nanjing, and was later relocated and reconstructed. Currently, her tomb is a protected cultural relic in Nanjing.
