Introduction
Judith Pelham (1623β1700) was the daughter of Mary Wilbraham and Sir John Pelham, 3rd Baronet, who served as a Member of the English Parliament. She was also related to Thomas Pelham, 1st Baron Pelham, her nephew, and his son, Thomas Pelham-Holles, 1st Duke of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, who served as Prime Minister of Great Britain from 1693 to 1768.
