Xin Shusen

Xin Shusen, male, born in the 1950s, has extensive experience in banking and financial management. He began serving as Deputy Branch Manager of the Changchun Branch of the China Construction Bank in Yanji City, Jilin Province, in 1983, holding this position until 1985. He then transferred to become Deputy Head of the Yanbian Prefecture Central Sub-branch in Jilin Province, serving until 1986.

From 1986 to 1988, Xin Shusen worked as Deputy Director of the Personnel Department at the head office of China Construction Bank, and was subsequently promoted to Director of that department, serving from 1988 to 1990. From 1990 to 1993, he was Deputy Director of the Human Resources Department at the head office. Between 1993 and 1994, he concurrently served as Director of the Enterprise Services Department and Deputy Director of the Human Resources Department.

From 1994 to 1998, Xin Shusen served as Director of the Funding and Savings Department at the head office. During this period, from 1995 to 1998, he pursued a master's degree in Investment and Engineering Management, majoring in National Economy, at Northeast University of Finance and Economics. From 1998 to 2000, he was General Manager of the Retail Business Department at the head office. Subsequently, from 2000 to 2003, he served as General Manager of the Personal Banking Department at the head office.

Between 2003 and 2005, Xin Shusen became a member of the Party Committee of China Construction Bank, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission (Chief Supervisor), and Secretary of the Party Committee of the headquarters机关党委. From 2005 to 2008, he concurrently served as a Party Committee member, Vice President, Discipline Inspection Secretary, and机关党委书记. From 2008 to 2010, he was Executive Director, Party Committee Member, Vice President, Discipline Inspection Secretary, and Party Committee Secretary at China Construction Bank. From 2010 to 2012, he continued to hold the roles of Executive Director, Party Committee Member, Discipline Inspection Secretary, and Party Committee Secretary.

In addition, Xin Shusen was a member of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. He made significant contributions to banking operations, leading the development of multiple personal financial business systems, including personal deposits and loans, wealth management, fund sales, Quick Transfer, personal liabilities, telephone banking (95533), credit cards, Dragon Zodiac card, and international debit cards, thereby promoting the growth of personal banking services.

He also presided over the compilation of a series of professional works titled "Series of Books on Personal Banking Business," which covers topics such as personal liabilities, credit, intermediary services, bank cards, electronic banking, wealth management, business innovation, personal relationship managers, and product marketing. This publication project aims to provide systematic and practical business guidance for banking industry professionals. His works include "Personal Liabilities," "Personal Credit," "Personal Intermediary Business," "Bank Cards," "Electronic Banking," "Personal Wealth Management," "Innovation in Personal Financial Business," "Personal Customer Manager," and "Marketing of Personal Financial Products." Published in 2007 by China Financial Publishing House, these works are widely used in bank staff training, qualification certification, and academic research.
