Introduction
Princess of Chongqing (1446–1499), daughter of Emperor Yingzong of Ming, mother is Consort Zhou. She was the full sister of Emperor Xianzong of Ming. In the fifth year of Tianshun (1461), she married Zhou Jing, a native of Anyang, who loved reading. She was deeply favored by Emperor Yingzong and often accompanied him on outings. During the reign of Emperor Xianzong, she served in the Court of Imperial Clans and was known for her integrity and caution in official duties. She dedicated herself to poetry and calligraphy, with few other hobbies. She maintained filial relations with Zhou Jing’s parents, frequently sewing clothes and shoes by hand and paying respects to her family during festivals. Every time Zhou Jing went to court, the princess would personally wake up early to prepare food and drink. In the eighth year of Hongzhi (1495), Zhou Jing passed away. Four years later, the princess also died. Her son, Zhou Xian, served as a Deputy Commander of the Capital Guard.
