Ren Sanhe was the grandfather of Ren Zhengfei, the founder of Huawei. His ancestral home was Ren Dian Village, Huangzhai Town, Pujiang County, Zhejiang Province.

He was well-known as a skilled master in curing Jinhua ham, and his craftsmanship provided the family’s main source of livelihood.

After Ren Sanhe passed away, the family lost its financial support, which forced his son, Ren Musheng, to drop out of university and return home. Despite these hardships, Ren Musheng later became the first university student from Ren Dian Village, continuing the family’s tradition of perseverance and education.

Although Ren Sanhe lived a humble life, his skills and dedication to supporting his family had a profound impact on his descendants and became an integral part of the family’s legacy of resilience.
