Elizabeth Collins was the mother of Elida Vanderburgh Manney (1802–1877), who in turn was the mother of George Manney Ayer (1840–1914). George Manney Ayer was the father of Adele Augusta Ayer (1867–1938), who was the mother of Dorothy Ayer Gardner Ford, the mother of U.S. President Gerald Ford.
