Richard Birtwistle

Richard Birtwistle, born circa 1814 in Higher Booths, Lancashire, and deceased in 1880 in the same location, was the father of Richard Ernest Birtwistle, who was born on December 5, 1871, in Goodshaw, Lancashire, and died on March 19, 1940. Benjamin Hartley Birtwistle is the father of Richard Ernest Birtwistle, making Richard Birtwistle the ancestor of Joyce Mary Birtwistle, born May 31, 1906, in Hasland, Derbyshire, who died August 21, 1959, in Hertfordshire, and the great-grandfather of John Truss, the son of Joyce Mary Birtwistle.
