Princess Zhaoren

Princess Zhaoren was born in 1639 and died on April 24, 1644. She was a princess of the Ming Dynasty, the daughter of Emperor Chongzhen ( Zhu Youjian), born to Empress Zhou. On the eighteenth day of the third month in the seventeenth year of Chongzhen (1644), when Li Zicheng captured Beijing, Princess Zhaoren was executed by her father, Zhu Youjian, at the Zhaoren Hall. She was only six years old. Her sister, Princess Changping, also lost an arm during this event, having been cut by their father. Following these events, Zhu Youjian hanged himself on Mount Coal.
